Jäseneksi voi liittyä jokainen, joka on hyväksyy järjestön tarkoituksen ja maksaa viiden euron (5€) liittymismaksun. Jäsenyys ei edellytä opiskelua Helsingin yliopistossa. LIO:n jäsenenä tuet Lähi-idän opiskelijoiden toimintaa sekä pääset muun muassa hakemaan Lähi-idän opiskelijoiden järjestämille opintomatkoille.
Anyone, who approves the mission of the organization and pays the membership fee of five euros (5€) can become a member. You do not have to be studying at the University of Helsinki to become a member. As a member of LIO you will support the activities of the students of Middle Eastern and North African Studies, and you will be eligible to apply for study trips organized by LIO.
